Professional Staffing Group is among the largest temporary staffing firms in Massachusetts, according to the Boston Business Journal. The BBJ ranked PSG #3 on its annual list of the area’s largest temporary staffing firms and the largest firm listed with headquarters in Massachusetts. The rankings are based on the average number of temporary workers supplied daily in Massachusetts. This is the 14th consecutive year that PSG has been named to the list.

PSG President Aaron Green attributed the firm’s growth and success to its practice of collaborating with clients so they are best positioned to make successful hires, including showcasing clients’ opportunities while shortening the hiring process, all without sacrificing the effective screening of candidates.

PSG was proud to sponsor the Boston Business Journal  ‘Leaders in Diversity’ event, which took place at the Omni Parker House in Boston on October 25.  As a charity partner for the event, PSG’s Aaron Green was delighted to honor the Asian American Civic Association with a $2,500 gift.  The Asian American Civic Association (AACA) has provided decades of support to those members of the community who may need assistance to excel in their careers. AACA offers English classes, job training and youth development, along with other programs, to help immigrants and people from all walks of life succeed in the workforce, as well as in our society.

PSG Recognized As One of Boston’s Largest Staffing Firms

The Boston Business Journal recently published a ranking of the Area’s Largest temporary placement firms, recognizing PSG on the list for the 10th year in a row.

PSG is #4 on the Boston Business Journal’s list, which ranks staffing firms by the current average number of temporary workers they supply daily in Massachusetts.

PSG’s staff of 65 recruiters and managers puts more than 900 temporary workers to work in office support, technical, creative, finance, healthcare and human resources jobs each day in Massachusetts.

Staffing Firms See Demand Rise for Contract Workers

Locally and nationally, businesses are hiring more contract labor as they adjust their workforces to keep pace with a still-uncertain economy, a trend that has long been a precursor to more widespread employment growth.

At Professional Staffing Group in Boston, the number of workers on assignments is up 50 percent over the past eight months, said company President Aaron Green. “Over the past couple months, we have started to see the demand spreading to smaller-sized companies,” he said. “But I still wouldn’t call the market robust.”
