Each year, PSG is proud to sponsor scholarships for deserving Boston students at the annual Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA) Diversity & Inclusion Gala. This year, PSG awarded its 2014 scholarship to Achly Esparra, a Greater Egleston High School student who plans on majoring in special education next year and continuing to develop inclusion programs for people with special needs.
PSG was also part of the selection committee that chose Jerson Familia as the winner of the Norma Kornegay Clarke Scholarship, which honors students who demonstrate a passion for diversity, as well as community involvement. Jerson plans to study biochemistry next year and become an advocate for community health. Achly and Jerson both work at Sociedad Latina where they work with Boston city officials on diversity and inclusion initiatives.
